Hello! My name is Beth. I am 39 years old & the mother to 2 boys (21 & 10). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 16 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. I believe that getting fresh air & staying social is a great way to keep healthy! Patience is also key to their stability & maintaining a successful level of their trust.
